Imaan completed her primary and middle school years at Ilm Tree Co-Op in Lafayette, California. She continued to homeschool for high school while taking classes at Diablo Valley College. Imaan graduated from UC Berkeley earning a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Biochemistry. Imaan has several years of experience tutoring high school and college students in English, math and science. She has completed memorizing half of the Quran and is also currently working on her ijazah in tajweed.
